The PT-3000-00 is a great option to replace and upgrade the nut on almost any guitar or bass. This nut is not slotted.

The Teflon impregnated Black Tusq is over 500 times more slippery than graphite and means that your guitar strings will slide over it and will therefore stay in tune longer and be less prone to breakage.
Black Tusq top nuts are slightly oversized and have extra length and height so that you can adjust them to fit your guitar by simply sanding them with a 200 grit sandpaper.
