Shrink tubing is used in many areas of electro engineering and mechanical work.
Application is easy, pull the tubing over the desired area and apply heat to permanently shrink to tubing to approx.
half its diameter (depending on the type of tubing used). The length of the tubing remains almost the same.
Typical applications are:
•Isolation of cables
•Fastening objects to cables
•Labeling cables
Ensure that the specified diameter of the shrink tubing is not considerably below the diameter of the cable since too much tension can cause the tubing to tear.
